Nicki and Dan tied the knot at one of my favourite Chester venues, Oddfellows! It was an emotional day – bride, Nicki had a stash of tissues tucked into her dress pockets ready to soak up the tears. She wore her heart on her sleeve – a photographer's dream. I loved how expressive she was. This was also the first wedding where I witnessed the groom tearing off the bride's (detachable) sleeves!
If you are planning a relaxed, intimate celebration and after something a little different, this might just be the venue for you. They have an upside down Alice in Wonderland room, an awesome red entrance hall with a checkered staircase and they allow dogs at your ceremony! The added bonus is they are a 5 minute walk from Chester river front which is perfect for couples portraits on Queen's Bridge, the bandstand and city walls.
